Check your proof of funds and employment legitimacy

IRCC refuses Express Entry applications when the funds are in the wrong type of account, when the 6-month average balance does not meet the threshold, or when the employment evidence does not support the work history claim. This tool checks all three, with guardrails for African banking and employment contexts.

Your situation

IRCC exempts CEC applicants and those with a valid Canadian job offer from showing proof of funds. We surface that up front if you qualify.

Include yourself, spouse, and dependent children even if not coming with you.

CEC applicants are exempt from POF.

If yes, you may also be exempt from POF.

Your funds

Convert from local currency. Approximate is fine.

Examples: salary savings, business income, gift from family member, property sale, inheritance.

Name the institution and its type (commercial bank, microfinance, mobile money).

IRCC requires the bank letter to state this, not just current balance.

Your employment

Examples: salaried with payslips, cash payment, self-employed, mixed.

CNPS for Cameroon private sector. Public sector workers are not in CNPS - use the third option.
